Day 24: Because it's Christmas Eve

Oh, sweet heavens above, we made it. Welcome to the last cookie blog post you will ever find on Forward Dear. I sang a beautiful, opera-like song as I pulled these beauts out of the oven. Loving hubs said he wished he had recorded it as it would have gone viral, without a doubt.

Behold, my loving husband's all time favorite cookie, made once a year for Christmas, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Candied Cherry Cookies.
I made four dozen of these things. I am fairly certain loving hubs has already taken down a dozen. I am running short on time as we need to get on the road and if you've ever met my loving husband (or had the privilege of traveling with him, right, JH?) you know he runs a tight ship when it comes to being on time. So I feel I need to wrap this up.

And now for the grand totals you have all been waiting for....throughout the past 24 days, we have gone through the following:

- 10 pounds of flour

- 5 pounds of butter

- 2 dozen eggs

- 3 oz. of vanilla

- 6 bags of assorted chocolate chips

- 3 pounds of brown sugar

- 5 pounds of sugar

- A partridge

- A pear tree

The end. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas full of joy, blessings and hope.
