I can still remember the day my then foreign exchange student, Pilar, introduced me to this little jar of heaven:
Behold, the magic of chocolate and hazelnuts whipped up into a tasty spread. It was all the rage in Europe at the time and was just starting to make its way to the States. I have loved this stuff ever since that day.So when I found this recipe for chocolate-hazelnut thumbprints that are filled with nutella, I was pretty excited. They turned out a little drier than I thought they would and I honestly have no clue whether that was user error or what. But the filling is delish. Add the fact that they have espresso in them as well and you've got yourself a winner.
I have to share with you all, my dear faithful readers, a little confession. I am sick of cookies. We are on day 6 and I am sick of them. This is not good. I of course have to sample every batch I make, but I think I did not pace myself very well in the beginning. So if you live in Oklahoma or heck, if you want an excuse to come visit (hint hint all of you who keep moving away!) then PLEASE stop by my house for a bag full of cookies. I will have a different variety for you daily. Please. Please come by. Thank you and good night :)

To bad you don't live in an apartment in NYC and then you could leave them outside your door like Monica and people would love you as the cookie lady!
