Aaaand, happy 2011 to you all. A few weeks late. Sorry about that. I have been in a cookie induced coma since Christmas eve and required a full month to recover. It's funny how I started 2010 with a vegan diet and ended 2010 with a batch of cookies a day for 25 straight days. Clearly, I went through an identity crisis in 2010. But that's another blog post for another time.

This past weekend, we sold my Jetta. My beautiful, shiny blue Jetta. Her name was Bella. She is now in a new home where a 16-year old squealed with excitement when she greeted her. Warms my little heart that she has a good place to live.

We bought a bigger car. You know, so we can fit in with all the soccer moms out here in Suburbia. That and the Jetta used to be our big car. And friends, a Jetta should never serve as your "big" car. It is not meant to haul 2 X 4's, carry golf clubs and various pieces of luggage or bring home a live Christmas tree. Even though my beloved Bella did all of those things, she is really not designed to. So a bigger car was bought.

We got a GMC Acadia. She looks like this:

I've named her Oprah. You can call her Miss O if you find that more appropriate. She's shiny and new and has a medium brown exterior. And I heart her.
I'm traveling again this week and you'll never guess where they've decided to send me....London. Yep, I'm going back. My faithful (only?) readers will all remember my last adventures in London and how I struggled. I'm hoping for second chances this week. Cheers, mate.
