Day 16: Because you all should bear witness to the fact my talents lie elsewhere

Artistic, I am not. I know this. I embrace this. I pay people to frame my pictures and paint my walls. So I am not really sure why I thought I would be able to creatively decorate today's cookie: Gingerbread men.

But I gave it my all. Here are my top three and a couple of their miniature friends:

The others are reserved for the outtake edition. I struggled hard with this one. Like two hours of trying to make cute faces on these things only to come up with three halfway presentable ones. Ugh.

I going to go back to recipes that only require me to scoop and drop lumps of cookie dough onto baking sheets. The kind where figuring out how far apart to space them on the baking sheets is the only creativity required. Maybe I'll even create staggered lines with the rows of cookies. Go crazy. Who knows. My kind of creativity there, folks.
