Day 7: Because it's Hanukkah, people

So it's true, I celebrate Christmas, but I realized Hanukkah is going on right now and I thought I would pay tribute to that holiday by incorporating their tradition into my own holiday tradition. That sentence made my head hurt. Anyway, my good buddy Ina Garten tells me that this recipe for Coconut Macaroons is a Passover tradition, but I thought it would be good to try today since it is Hanukkah and all.

This is by far the easiest recipe I have made. Coconut, sweetened condensed milk, egg whites, salt and vanilla. That's it. After you beat the egg whites, you just fold them into the other ingredients. Drop some spoonfuls of the mixture onto parchment and stick them in the oven. The end. Oh but wait- they are delish. If you don't like coconut, stay far away from these. But if you do, well then enjoy. Mazel Tov!

Side note: Could someone send me a thesaurus? I am running out of adjectives to describe each recipe. Tasty, delish and good are wearing me out. I feel like I am back at rush when we would get fined every time we used the word "nice" to describe a girl. Ugg.

My personal favorite adjective from rush is AMAZING!!! (I'll use it in a sentence for you) She is AMAZING and we need her! :)

Mazel! :)

Generally speaking, 'blasphemous' is the best adjective to describe anything that isn't blasphemy. e.g 'Lisa, the Mexican Chocolate Cookies were blasphemous.' But, not to be confused with, 'Lisa, the day 2 cookies were blasphemous....'
