Tomorrow, I head to my favorite state- New Jersey. Can't wait. I am stressed about the football game on Saturday and where I am going to be able to watch it. I don't mind going into the city by myself, but I really hate eating by myself in the city. There is something about being in Manhattan, a large metropolis with millions of people, and still eating alone. And drinking beer and watching a football game by myself in the city might be too much for me to handle. So we shall see where I end up. Maybe that will be my blog topic for day 8. We shall see.
I would like to make one, final thought on the election. President-elect Obama mentioned last night that he told his girls they could get a puppy since the election was over. I am not sure how I am going to get ahold of the Obama family, but I am going to suggest they look into one of these:

The first pug in the White House! I think it would be much more interesting than a lab, or a scottie or a cocker spaniel. Not that there is anything wrong with these dogs, I am just partial to pugs in case you haven't figured that out about me. And look how patriotic this little fella is. I am sure they will take my call and allow me to convince them that a pug is the way to go. One can hope, right? Isn't that what the election and the outcome were all about?? Yes, I can.
I am going to have to get creative with my next couple of posts as the east coast, while I do love it, typically drains me and I have to push through in my march to 30 posts in 30 days despite being on the road. Wish me luck.
