This week, my loving husband and I booked a vacation for the Fall. Yes, yes, you read that right- THE FALL. As in FOOTBALL season. As in, what in God's green earth are we going to do when I want to sight see and my loving husband wants to be parked in front of a TV for a full 12 hours?! Oh, the drama that will ensue!! I can't wait.
But seriously, we are actually really excited about the upcoming trip. We are going to fly to Seattle, drive to Vancouver, BC, take a boat to Victoria Island and then make our way through Olympic National Park. We won't be taking an airstream (I can still dream) but this is one step closer to my ultimate road trip, which I have talked about before on the old blog.
Initially, loving hubs wasn't so sure about my love of National Parks. But, look at this place. It has rain forests, mountains and the coast. He's slowly but surely warming up to the idea. It doesn't hurt that he strategically arranged for us to visit the park on the two days during the week when no football will be played. Le siiiigggghhh. In marriage, you have to compromise and I will take what I can get :)

I realize I haven't blogged in months and I just blogged about a trip that will take place in a few months. And it was a short and sweet post at that. But in this blog relationship, it is all about compromise. Take what you can get :)
