So, maybe I should give this yoga thing a rest. I think I have pulled about every muscle in my body. I can barely move my right leg when I walk. This whole idea of relaxation is backfiring. I mean, I think I need to take some aspirin and go to bed. Geez.
In an effort to give my aching muscles a rest, I did not move off the couch last night. Can we talk about the overwhelming line up of reality tv? I watched America's Next Top Model, followed by a dual watching of American Idol and Food Network Challenge and then it was time for Top Chef. This reality show overload rivals my weekly Law and Order marathons. (I love it when the regular one comes on after Criminal intent that comes on after SVU.)
And in Myers family news....my husband was offered a great position with a new company. We are pretty excited! I got so excited I immediately started house-hunting for bigger homes in different neighborhoods. Matt politely reminded me that we aren't quite ready for a new house. I guess my whopping 5 months here means I haven't really given the one bathroom lifestyle a chance. And then our buddy, Dave Ramsey, lectured us on the importance of savings and my house-hunting quickly came to a hault. I think I will quietly continue to search for the perfect baby step number 2 home, but I guess I was a little too enthusiastic with my search the first time.
And finally, the golf tournament I work on is just 25 days away. I am really excited to have it behind me so I can start having dinners with my friends again and have my lazy Saturdays back.
It's a beautiful thing.
