for the love of all things khaki

I am headed to New Jersey in a couple of days for another golf event. I was doing some pre-packing late this afternoon when I realized I could have the most impressive khaki pant collection in the world.

Seriously. Look at the variations in color, texture, wrinkles and random stains on these beauties. For those that read this and don't work golf tournaments for a living, have you ever seen such a sight?
Um, no...I don't have any khakis with leaf patterns on them. That's just my ironing board because I am moderately OCD and I like to iron everything before I pack it.

And see those black shiny things on top? Yep, those are my trusty rain pants. I think I've talked about them once or twice on this blog before. They are my saving grace when the 18th hole decides it would rather be a raging river than a fairway. They also come in handy when you're at a football game and it starts to pour and your loving husband insists on staying for all four quarters. Yep, they're also pretty handy then.

The only thing more impressive that this montage of chino fabric would be my golf polo collection. The wicking and vibrant colors alone could frighten small children. I may have to round up a photo or two of this and post it tomorrow. Just sayin.

You need some yellow ones. Don't you know someone who knows a thing or two about yellow slacks?
