In Baltimore...yes, I am still talking about the trip I took three weeks ago...we got to ride around the harbor in a pirate ship. Yes, a real pirate ship complete with costumes and rum and pirate songs. It was pretty fun. It was actually my friend Emily's bachelorette party and it was the night before the wedding. For all you girls who are married and gasping at her timing, you should know this fits her perfectly and I would have been surprised if it hadn't been the night before her wedding. Here's a group shot of the whole crew in costume aboard the ship.

Anyhoo, I figure I should wrap up this trip. Emily got married- looked beautiful, we danced and lifted her up in the chair and stomped the glass and yelled mazel tov and it was great. I met some fun people in Baltimore and would like to go back soon. And no, not just because they have pirate ships there. Ok, maybe.
We flew home on Sunday evening after the wedding and I turned around and flew back to the east coast on Monday morning for work meetings. After a long two days in a conference room, I was ready to be home! My good friend the weatherman had other plans. Apparently, just as we were about to land in Tulsa, a thunderstorm popped up over the airport and we were diverted to OKC because we were also running out of fuel. It was the never ending flight home. And the reason I can't stand traveling anymore. Oh well. I am home now!
I am out of energy and have no clever transition here, but I have to tell you, I am about 5 weeks out from my big event. Insomnia is in full effect and when I went to the doctor last week they told me my blood pressure was abnormally high. Somedays I wonder if these side effects are God's way of telling me I need a new career or if they are just part of the job. Either way, I feel like I am drowning and it is not the best feeling in the world. So I will apologize now if I take a few weeks hiatus from this site....although somedays typing this can be therapeutic, you know?
That's all for now...
