I got tagged...I think!

So, I think I got tagged in my friend Meredith's blog ( I really don't know for sure if she has other friends named Lisa who blog, so selfishly, I am automatically assuming she was referring to me :)Here are the rules:

Tell six quirky, yet boring unspectacular things about yourself, tag six other bloggers by linking to them, and then go to each person's blog and leave a comment letting them know they've been tagged. (I think I will just list them at the bottom and leave it at that. If they see it, great.)

Six Random things about me:

1. When I drive home from work, I take the same route everyday. I can't say the same for my drive in to work, which is another story. But every day, I drive past this tree on Lewis and it makes me smile. It's so crooked and funky looking and so different from the rest of the trees I see on the road. I am thinking about calling the city and asking them if I can transplant it into my front yard so I can stare at it. Yes, folks, I am obsessed with a tree. But, does that really make me a tree hugger? I don't think I quite fit all of those qualifications. Yet. (see bullet point #2)

2. In line with tree hugging, I have recently started carrying my own recyclable grocery bags. I lug them all into the store, throw them into my cart, fill them up with groceries and take them home. It's about the only sustainable effort I am currently making, but hey, it's a start.

3. While I don't consider myself a clean freak, I can't stand it when drawers are open. I don't care what is inside the drawer, if it is neatly organized or not, but please just shut it. Same goes for cabinets. Drives me nuts.

4. I have never had a jersey or a team number. While I did take ballet and I was on the high school pom squad, I have never really played a sport that required a jersey or a number. I sometimes think about what number I would have wanted and I think 57 would have done the trick. I am about the most un-athletic person you will ever meet. Seriously. Please see bullet point number 5.

5. Don't ever throw something at me and expect me to catch it. I mean this in the literal sense of the words, folks. I can't and won't make an effort to catch things. I will shield my face and dart in the other direction if something comes flying through the air in my direction. I think it all stems from being nailed in the nose in dodge ball and breaking my glasses in third grade, but I can't be sure. If you would like to give me something, just politely walk over to me and hand it to me. It would make my life much simpler if the world wold abide by this rule.

6.. I secretly, deep down love the game of golf. And deeply regret not taking my father up on his offers to take me to the driving range when I was young. This could turn in to another blog post in and of itself, so I will leave it at that.

Sadly, I don't think I have six new friends to tag who a) read my blog b) have a blog of their own or c) haven't already been tagged. So if you want to tag yourself, consider it a done deal and pass on the fun.
