work....
vacation........and now this.

Yep, that's a stork. Yep, it is allegedly making its way to our home sometime in May. Pretty crazy, amazing, terrifying and exciting all wrapped up into one!
Being the planners that we are, loving hubs and I have decided not to find out if it is a boy or a girl. Are we crazy? Absolutely. Will the anticipation kill us? Probably. Will we somehow obtain a boat load of those ugly, gender neutral onesies with the frogs and the ducks on them? My sources say yes. Will I turn into a crazed pregnant lady with wild cravings and hormonal overdrive? I believe the answer is already yes. Will I continue to write my own questions and provide answers to them for the next nine months? More than likely.
While our little home is about to undergo some major changes, there are two members of the family who don't know what is coming....
My poor little monsters are about to have their world turned upside down. I have already read a book on how to prepare them for the new arrival. Hope it works because my puglets demand to be center of attention. Let's hope my loving husband and I raise our child a little better than we raised these two.
In other preparation news, I have read about 17 other baby/pregnancy books. In my infinite wisdom and quest for "all the answers" I have read and re-read so many books that all the advice seems to cancel each other out. So I am back to square one having no clue what to do. Good thing "just winging it" is my speciality. Ahem.

Maybe we should have read that dog book. God knows I read 17 thousand books on child rearing.
We are so excited! And I totally don't think you are crazy for waiting to find out the gender. In fact, it makes me feel a little less crazy. It is the best surprise you will ever receive...or so I am told. :)
Congrats!!!
Yeah a post! Don't worry, you don't need an ultrasound just me:) All the books do cancel themselves out. You just have to pick one and go with it! Can't wait!
So excited for you guys!! And holy cow, can't believe you are able to wait but that's awesome. Wish we were there to celebrate!
So, so, so excited for you all! Our babies will only be 2 months apart. I see some play dates in our future! Jason tried to talk me into not finding out, and I said ok for 2 days. TWO days, was all I could take! So exciting!
